Sue joined the SCS team in 2016 as our Field Service Manager. Sue comes with a wealth of experience after 10 years working within the Energy and Property Services industry.

Sue’s area of expertise is managing Field Based teams. Her work with Blue Chip organisations such as GE Capital and Cable and Wireless will ensure our customers receive a first class service.

Sue’s main aim is to lead and support the Field Team to ensure maximum client focus and productivity. Ensuring the team are fully trained and motivated is a top priority for Sue.

Andie Rabone

Senior Engineer

Andie joined the SCS team in 2005 as a Service Engineer. With a background in IT where he undertook software development and hardware installations, he quickly became an expert in his field. His reliability and dedication to the engineering team soon led to a well-deserved promotion to Senior Engineer. His ‘can do’ attitude and excellent problem solving skills makes Andie an engineer you can trust.

Richard Urmston

Senior Engineer

Richard joined the SCS team in 2016 following a distinguished career in the Royal Navy. The invaluable skills and experience he gained running a Met Office have been further enhanced with an array of CAI qualifications in Satellite and Terrestrial Installation that help Richard steer SCS in the right direction.

Richard joined SCS as a Service Engineer in the North West and was soon promoted to Senior Engineer. With 14 years’ experience as an install and maintenance engineer his knowledge of the industry is second to none. Richard is committed to “maintaining tomorrow’s technologies today” and keeps abreast of developments in all areas of TV, Aerial, Satellite, CCTV and Door Access.

Richard is highly motivated and quick to learn, an adaptable ‘team player’ who shares his knowledge and experience readily with colleagues. In his new role as Senior Engineer he provides guidance and training to new engineers cementing the SCS standard of providing a first class service.

Richard is passionate about customer care and service. His aim is to get the job done right ‘first time’ with the minimum of disruption to the customer. Richard’s calm and level headed approach puts customers and colleagues at ease. Richard aims to provide a first class service in everything he undertakes. We here at SCS are lucky to have him on board!

Sean Hannon

Senior Engineer

Sean has been part of the SCS engineering team at SCS for over 2 decades, starting as an assistant engineer as a teenager. He hung up his night club DJ headphones back then to become a self-confessed Tech nerd who is fascinated by the technology we work with and problem-solving ways to resolve issues.

He is vastly experienced in all aspects of engineering starting with VSAT and general RF, progressing to AV, IPTV, IP networking, digital signage, and LED wall technology over the years.

Sean has a calm, reassuring manner which is much needed in high pressure situations supporting our blue-chip clients.

Sean relishes every opportunity to gain new skills so thoroughly enjoys the diversity of the work he undertakes day to day.

Through Sean’s commitment and dedication, he has become a valuable employee at SCS and a key member of the engineering team and has worked his way up to Senior engineer. He collaborates with the other senior engineers and supports the Field Service Manager to ensure exceptional quality is consistently delivered by the field engineering team.

He is particularly skilled at passing this knowledge on to newer team members, guiding and coaching them to become more proficient and confident members of the team.
