Accounts Manager

A Moore Joined SCS in October 2018 with 14 Years of accounting experience gained in a variety of roles starting as an Accountancy Practice Technician, moving on to the role of Financial Controller of a Hotel and Wedding Venue and more recently Accounts Manager for a car wholesale company before transferring her skills to SCS Technologies Ltd.

Originally self-taught accountancy skills and for a career change A Moore moved into accountancy from a manufacturing background after becoming a mother.

A Moore then went on to study AAT and become a fully qualified Accounts Technician at this busy time of early parenthood. This stood her in good stead for a career in a Financial Accountancy Practice.

After being made redundant from this job in the 2008 recession, she found fortune working as Financial Controller of a luxury wedding venue where she gained a wealth of hands on experience and decided that Management Accountancy was the direction for her. In 2011 she managed the Accounts department of a car wholesale company where she broadened her experience for the next seven years further and began studying as a Chartered Management Accountant. Outside of work A Moore enjoys a busy family life spent with her fiancé and their four children.

Charlotte Gent
Credit Control

After graduation Charlotte began her working life as a high school teacher.
Her years in education provided her with a vast range of administrative and problem solving skills that she puts to good use at SCS.
Following a career break to bring up her 2 daughters, Charlotte looked for a change in direction and gained an Accounting Technician qualification at college.

Charlotte joined SCS in 2012 as an Accounts Assistant and soon moved into the role of Credit Controller.
She ensures all processes are put in place to ensure our customers have an excellent experience with SCS from Account set up to invoicing and quickly and efficiently deals with any queries.

Charlotte works closely with A Moore to assist in the day to day smooth running of the Accounts Department.

Charlotte believes the accuracy, attention to detail and efficient organisation in Accounts helps the team to make SCS the success it is today.

Emma Owens
Purchase Ledger Clerk

The continued growth of SCS saw Emma join the SCS team in 2015 moving across from Viewcomms. Emma brought with her over 10 years’ experience in the Satellite and Aerial industry and quickly became an invaluable member of the team.

Emma has over 20 years administrative experience beginning her career as a clerical assistant and progressing quickly over the years to the role of Office Manager at Viewcomms. Emma’s experience and client knowledge saw her move onto the Service Desk at SCS where she ensured the customer always received first class service.

Always keen to learn and take up new challenges Emma moved into the Accounts Department at SCS where she embraced her new role as Purchase Ledger Assistant. Now a valuable member of the Accounts team Emma ensures all processes are followed to ensure the smooth running of Purchase Ledger from supplier set up to invoice payment.

As a mother of 2 young children, Emma is kept extremely busy working part time at SCS and spending quality time with her family. Emma also runs and plays in her own netball team in the Cheshire West and Chester Netball League.
