The continued growth of SCS saw Rachael join the SCS team in July 2019 looking to apply her experience and knowledge to her new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Having graduated with an HND in Hotel Management, Rachael started her professional career as a Hotel Receptionist, before moving into hotel accounts.
Rachael enjoyed a successful career for over 12 years with a succession of promotions in a variety of roles from Accounts Assistant to Assistant Financial Controller. Rachael’s numerous roles and responsibilities included payroll, purchase ledger, credit control, forecasting and budgeting.
Rachael then took a break from her career to become a full-time mum, a break that was every bit as fulfilling as her career. In 2012 Rachael gradually returned to work part-time providing maternity cover in a purchase ledger role.
Rachael continued her career development with a computer manufacturer working in their credit control department which was subsequently followed by a role as an accounts assistant for a procurement company before succumbing to redundancy.
As a mother of two children, her beloved chocolate Labrador and wife to husband Andy, she enjoys a busy family life away from the office.
Rachael has embraced her new role at SCS and is now a valuable member of the Accounts team ensuring all processes are followed to ensure the smooth running of Purchase Ledger from supplier set up to invoice payment.
