SCS Technologies has appeared in the recent edition of Premier Hospitality as the provider of in-room technology to The Dixon.
This month’s issue of Premier Hospitality covers the design and build of the latest addition to the Marriot Autograph Collection; The Dixon Hotel. We’re proud to be featured in the magazine as the supplier and installer of The Dixon’s guest facing in-room technology.
Guests checking-in to the new hotel will be treated to our wall-mounted super-slim Samsung TVs complete with a fully customised interactive Guest User Interface (GUI) powered by Nevaya TV. The GUI allows all kinds of information – including The Dixon’s guest directory, hotel services, food & drink menus, local area information and weather – to be hosted in one central hub on the guests’ TV.
Enhancing the GUI and making guests feel right at home is the most popular content streaming platform we install; Nevaya Cast. Powered by Google Chromecast, this little device allows guests to stream content from thousands of apps including Netflix, BBC iPlayer, BT Sports, YouTube, ITV Hub and All4 straight to the in-room TV screen. With a simple one-step authentication for both Android and iOS devices, guests can quickly and securely share content without even needing to enter any of their login details into the TV.
