Andy joined SCS team in 2016 with a vast array of skills gained over many years in the IT and digital signage industry.

Andy’s first job was with Maplin Electronics where he spent 4 years advising customers on all things electronics, computer, radio & TV.

In total, Andy has worked in the IT field for more than 18 years, supporting IT infrastructures and developing websites. He has spent the last 8 years supporting, developing and designing digital signage systems and interactive systems for retail. Through this experience he has accumulated an excellent knowledge of many CMS platforms including Bright Author and Scala.

In his role at SCS Andy uses his expansive technical knowledge of IT, digital signage and electronics to provide comprehensive technical support and produce complete system designs.

Piotr Morawiecki

Technical Support Engineer

Piotr joined the SCS technical team in 2023, his journey in IT starting in 2007 as an IT administrator and developed into servicing PC, Laptops, Servers, mobile phones, and consoles.

Piotr then moved to another role including AV technology where he was a Field Service Engineer for over 8 years, gaining experience in various systems including the installation and servicing of digital signage menu boards, VC solutions, LED screens, imaging PCs, and network installations.

Piotr looks at the problem, wants to understand how to fix it, and then approaches this with a methodical approach.

Now at SCS, Piotr, can combine all AV and IT knowledge to support the company.

Lewis Tarpey

Technical Support Engineer

Lewis originally joined the SCS team back in 2016 as an Installation Engineer where he utilised his previous experience of installing, repairing and on-site servicing of gaming machines and PCs, he also became part of the SCS Wi-Fi team delivering installation and service for a Blue-Chip company.

Lewis progressed to the role of Technical Support Engineer back in January 2020, he is able to utilise the skills learnt in his previous roles which now helps him support other SCS engineers in the field across a broad range of products.

In his role at SCS Lewis uses his passion for all things technical to provide comprehensive support a well as testing and pre-configuration of equipment prior to going out into the field.
